LA Desserts is the bakery behind every dessert at The Ivy and Ivy at the Shore. Chef Richard Irving opened it in 1977, and for years it was known to the neighborhood as Dolce Isola. Today it is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7am to 7pm at 2869 S. Robertson Blvd, with freshly baked cakes and pastries in the cases every morning.
The bakery also makes The Ivy’s custom cakes — old fashioned red velvet, coconut, raspberry coconut, white chocolate lemon, and more, decorated with fresh flowers and chocolate-dipped strawberries for birthdays, weddings, and celebrations.
