Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LA Desserts, Inc, operator of The Ivy, Ivy at the Shore, and LA Desserts ("we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit theivyrestaurants.com or interact with us online.

Notice at collection (California)

We collect identifiers (such as your name, email address, and phone number when you make a reservation or join our mailing list) and internet activity (such as pages viewed, collected via analytics cookies). We use this information only to operate our reservations and mailing list, respond to you, and understand how our website is used. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Information we collect

  • Reservations. Bookings are handled by OpenTable. When you reserve, you provide your name, phone number, and email directly to OpenTable under OpenTable's privacy policy.
  • Gift cards & merchandise. Purchases are processed by Toast and Shopify under their own privacy policies.
  • Mailing list. If you join our mailing list, your name and email address are stored by our email provider (Klaviyo) and used only to send you news from the restaurants. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Analytics. With your consent, Google Analytics 4 collects anonymized usage data (pages visited, approximate region, device and browser type) via cookies. See "Cookies" below.
  • Accessibility preferences. The AccessiBe widget stores your chosen accessibility settings on your device.

Cookies

Our site itself sets no first-party tracking cookies. When you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which distinguish visitors anonymously. Embedded third-party content (OpenTable reservation widgets and Canva menu embeds) may set cookies from those services within their own frames.

You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time using the cookie banner or the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of every page. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a decline.

How we use information

  • To operate reservations, gift cards, and the mailing list.
  • To respond to questions and requests.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it (aggregate analytics only).
  • To meet legal obligations.

Your California privacy rights

Under the CCPA/CPRA you may request to know, access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Data retention & security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, mailing-list details until you unsubscribe — and we use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect it.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
